2020: A Year of Shock and Awe

The Lord asked me recently, "Bill, are you enjoying life?" I said, "Am I supposed to? What about all the trials and chaos I am facing?" He said, "Yes! Don't waste them, enjoy every bit of them, for that's where you will find Me. I'm turning them into something sweet. Most of all, enjoy Me in them."

Life More Abundantly

I think I have figured out what 'life more abundantly' means. It's when you finally feel like you're on a roll and you're shocked to discover it's actually the world's largest roller coaster, with nothing to hold on to, but Jesus. Sometimes you get to scream. But when that wild ride ends, you get back in line, because you want to make sure you didn't like it, for there was a feeling of 'awe' between the screams. I believe many of us have forgotten to enjoy life, despite what comes our way.

Everyone I know is fighting major battles. Welcome to the war that Jesus won for us. Let's celebrate His victory and ours too.
