Difference showed its power early in my life when my mother took us kids to church from day one. Growing up we attended The Free Methodist Church, The First Church of God, The United Methodist and I've forgotten some. Mom couldn't find a perfect church nowhere, but each church being different marked me and I was changed from being there.
At ten years old, after the Lord had healed me of a brain tumor when I seven, I suddenly stood up during testimony time at the Free Methodist Church and started thanking the Lord for my body. "Lord, thank you for my arms, legs, my head" and I can't remember what else. Looking back I believe that young testimony turned into a prophetic decree that effected the rest of my life. I'm now seventy- one and
my last check up and blood work showed I have the health of a forty year old man. Not knowing the power of being thankful at the time, the Lord recently showed me as I was testifying I was prophesying healing the rest of my life.
The First Church of God was also different but I received Jesus in the balcony. I walked down the side steps, straight down the middle aisle of that church to the altar while a lady sang the song "He Touched Me!" Oh what a difference since Jesus passed by.
The United Methodist Church is where I saw hands raised in worship for the first time. I was embarrassed by this crazy act of worship, definitely not for me. After awhile without asking, my arms shot up worshiping the Lord and I felt free inside. Here's crazy talking to you.
In every adverse situation, relationship or trial let's choose to eat the good and spit out the bones, for they come to make us strong. They are our nourishment and sustenance for great problems produce great faith.
Father in Jesus Name we ask you to release a spiritual "zebra" anointing upon our nation and the world. Let us see our differences...red, yellow, black and white as the power needed to shake the world into your kingdom.
"After this, I saw a large crowd with more people than could be counted. They were from every race, tribe, nation, and language, and they stood before the throne and before the Lamb. They wore white robes and held palm branches in their hands, as they shouted, "Our God, who sits upon the throne, has the power to save his people, and so does the Lamb." Rev. 7:9,10 (CEV)
