Healing Runs in My Family

Dear Friends,

On April 25th I will be 70 years old, yet still twenty-five in my spirit. I have eternity in my heart.

"If they found a fountain of youth, I wouldn't drink a drop and that's the truth, funny how it feels I'm just getting to my best years yet." ( Alan Jackson )

So far, I have survived a brain tumor at age seven when it disappeared

on the last x-ray before surgery, a blood clot in the artery of my heart with a 50/50 chance of living when I was fifty-four. Three days later, my heart stopped on the table during a heart catheterization and they jumped it back to beat again. And recently, a heart murmur became

a false report. The doctors tell me I'm a lucky man. I love doctors but I've learned to never let them number my days. Our times are in God's hands.

I will never forget what God spoke to me when my life was hanging in the balance. "Son, if the enemy can attack you, I can outdo him." I know now that I'm being attacked by healing and that healing runs in my family because of those stripes across His back. Never fear the sickness or disease that ran in your parents and grandparents lives. As a believer, the royal blood runs in your veins and has taken care of that.

** Where the devil tries to take you out is where the Lord will often send you back with bragging rights.

I know your prayers have been major in keeping me alive and my wife too. Thank you so much.
