Looking Back, Could I Have Loved More And Judged Less?
Dear Friends,
A miracle happened in my last meeting in my hometown. Two men walked in who I haven't seen since high school, fifty- five years ago. I recognized the one but not the other. The one I didn't recognize turned out to be a Green Beret and was the mayor in my hometown for eight years. He was so hungry for the Lord.
I keep learning that God is never through writing someone's story. This friend knew everyone in our graduating class. As he mentioned the names of those gone into eternity, their faces came before me like I was back in 12th grade. I wondered if they knew Jesus and did my light shine bright enough for them to know? Did they experience God's love somehow through me?
Interestingly, we made out our own "going away plans" recently and wanted to make sure people knew where we would be. Our plaque reads..."We Are Fully Alive! 2 Corinthians 5:8 "...to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
Since returning home I heard this song that makes us want to love like we're on borrowed time... Scars in Heaven. Click here:
Whispers Of Hope...
* I suggested something to the Lord to consider how to straighten out our nation. He responded, "I'm still straightening you out."
* As you pray for your enemy, God's pen keeps moving, writing their story. Give Him your pen.

Dear Friends, Among other things that happened in that meeting, I met a cousin from Delaware who I had never seen before. My immediate family was there also. It was a wonderful unplanned family reunion. Also, the young woman who took care of my mother in the assisted living center came to the meeting. I honored her publicly. She was with mom when she stepped into glory. I heard that her last sigh was laughter and I
believe what mom saw took her breath away. Your prayers make unusual things happen in our lives and meetings. Thank you so much. We love you all, a whole lot.
