A Word For 2023: A Cry From Pigpens Will Be Heard In Our Land, As We Discover There's A Prodigal In All Of Us. Luke 15:11-32 (NIV
With the cleansing of 'whiter than snow' coming, we will see what God sees in us that we don't see yet, or don't want to. To all who struggle in their brokenness, imperfections, and the sin that nips at our heels, Jesus is still attracted to us. That's why He came.
John Newton, author of Amazing Grace stated, "Although my memory's fading, I remember two things very clearly: I am a great sinner and Christ is a great Savior."
The Bible answers our helpless condition:
"Turn your lives back to God and put your trust in the hope-filled gospel!" Mark 1:15 (TPT) "If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from 'all' unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 (KJV)
I believe the Lord is also handing us a forgotten key for deliverance in our lives: It's humbling ourselves before one another. "Confess your faults ( weaknesses) one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed." James 5:16 (KJV) It's time to be real with God and be real with one another. Be real and be healed.
May we come home to the Father this year.
