I have often shared how your prayers have kept me and
my family from accidents or dangerous situations. Just yesterday we had one of those times. When our son, Joel, was driving home from the Mall, concerning a job, he had to keep pumping the brake pedal to get stopped. After he got home, I went out to where he had parked across the street. When I stepped on the brake pedal, it went to the floor. This is our second car which is also used for ministry and has nearly 300,000 miles on it. I could only praise the Lord, because the hand of God was
surely on our son and any of us that had been driving that car lately.
I got the car towed and fixed, but our mechanic said the car is dangerously rusted underneath. That's what caused the brake lining to rust through. Other things underneath are also rusting through which is making the car too dangerous to keep. The car is a 1999 Toyota Avalon. It has blessed us for many years but finally needs to be replaced. We are trusting the Lord for
a longlasting vehicle. Perhaps you may know of someone who has a car and could give us a good price on one or even may donate it for a tax receipt.
