Dear Friends,
The next 2 newsletters will focus on what I believe to be one of the "missing links" for the healing of our nation. My recent visit to our Mayor's office, here in Hagerstown, Maryland, shed a lot of light concerning her own dealings with childhood woundedness. Yet, in spite of these painful occurrences, she now holds the
city's highest office.
The mayor shared with me that she hated our town early on. Then, someone mentored her on how to get over her hurts and bitterness and prevent her from getting wounded. She said, "Now when I feel like someone is coming against me, I immediately stop and realize this is not that person; it's the spirit of rejection wanting to operate in my life. And if someone offends me, even on purpose, I stop and take authority over
the Spirit of offense. I separate the two and refuse to take the bait. Since I know it's not them, I am able to have compassion and mercy because of their own woundedness."
In Chapter 24, verse 10 of Matthew, Jesus was describing the atmosphere of the last days. He said, "And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another." We're here, don't you think? But we have an arsenal of weapons when
we discern real motives and refuse to participate in the tactics of Satan. This is an important step in healing our nation that we each can take.

**** In our travels we are seeing more and more young people hungering for the
Lord. This 9yr. old boy came up to us after our last service. Most people had already left. He began asking us questions. He had come from children's church and caught the last 15 minutes of my message titled: "Stay On The Rodeo Bull!" So not getting the full message he wanted to hear more about the "Bull Ride." He reminded us of how Jesus was found in the temple at age of 12 asking questions to the religious leaders of His time. Luke 2:41-52 (NIV). This child gives me major hope for our nation
that I believe is receiving a fresh blood transfusion through the faith of a child into the veins and arteries of our nation. We also met a young lady of 25 years who was pivotal in getting major legislation passed in the state of North Carolina to protect its citizens from a life and death situation. God is on the move, and He's using our young people as well as our seasoned believers.
