Update
on my wife, Dagmar:
My last update shared that Dagmar was moved from ICU to a regular room early Wednesday morning. When I walked into her room I thought I entered the wrong one. She was sitting up in a comfortiable chair eating oatmeal for breakfast. She couldn't eat any solid food without throwing up in ICU the evening before. For the first time she could walk to the restroom with a walker by herself without assistance from
a nurse. She said, "I have been here three days and feel like I have been resurrected!" After getting out of ICU we were praying she could stay in the hospital to receive therapy to be stronger before going home. After careful observation the doctors concluded, "She is too healthy to stay here any longer." Today on Thursday noon she was released and now is home and doing well.
I have a new appreciation for the body of Christ, friends, doctors,
nurses and ( medicine when needed.) Of course continue to pray for total recovery with no side effects. In the height of her trauma in ICU, she said the most peaceful words I will never forget, "Don't worry Bill, Don't worry." To those who know me well, you understand why.
Thank you all and have a Healthy New Year!
Love, Bill & Dagmar
