Rediscovering God's Treasures Dear
Friends,
I wanted to give you a report on how God moved in The Treasures Retreat with former inmates last weekend. I was overcome by the testimonies of the many men who came up to me and said, "Remember the time you came to minister to us and read the prophesy you received called, "The Prisons Hold God's Treasures?" It changed our lives! These men remembered me from more than 25 years ago. I have never
experienced such anointing and love flowing from these transformed vessels.
I asked Pastor Antoine Payne, who organized this powerful weekend, to share his heart with you. Your prayers helped create this special moment. I want to encourage you. Seeds of prayer you planted many years ago are now breaking ground and bearing much fruit. Glorious Retreat Experience:I am still in awe. Blown away doesn't even begin to describe the magnitude of what took place at our recent Treasures Retreat. It was the time of a lifetime, one that surpassed all expectations and left an indelible mark on each of us who had the privilege of being there. You see, this retreat wasn't just another event on the calendar. It was a return to a sacred place, both geographically and spiritually. Thirty-three years ago, as a young teenager, I had one of my first encounters with God on that very mountain. Sent there by my church to be trained as a summer missionary, I spent hours studying the Bible, memorizing Scripture, and basking in the beauty of God's creation. It was a formative
experience, one that prepared me for the challenges that lay ahead, including my time of incarceration.During those difficult years in prison, I clung to a vision that was shared with me by Bill Yount. "I had a vision of God's treasures being locked up behind prison walls, waiting to be released and used for His glory." That vision became my mission, and for the past 29 years, I have dedicated my life to
walking in its fulfillment and helping others do the same. This retreat was the culmination of that mission, a gathering of those very treasures to rediscover their purpose, repent, and be restored. And to have Bill Yount himself present with us was nothing short of monumental. It was a high time, quite literally Heaven on Earth. But what truly set this retreat apart was the overwhelming presence and power of the Holy Spirit. His presence was tangible, His power undeniable. It was as if He was affirming to us, once again, that He hasn't changed His mind; His prophetic utterance concerning us is still so!Words cannot fully capture the depth of what transpired during those days on the mountain. To witness
brothers worshiping, crying, singing, laughing, and praying together in the presence of God was nothing short of amazing. The camaraderie, the support, the love that flowed among us was tangible, and I am still filled to overflowing with gratitude and joy.As I reflect on the retreat, I am reminded of the power of community, of worship, and of God's transformative love. I am reminded that no matter where we come
from or what struggles we face, we are all God's treasures, called to be used for His purposes. And I am reminded of what an incredible privilege it is to walk alongside my brothers on this journey of faith. The retreat may be over, but its impact will continue to reverberate in our hearts and lives for years to come. I am grateful for each and every person who joined us on this journey, and I am excited to see
how God will continue to move and work in and through us in the days ahead.Antoine Payne Www.philemonministry.org Ministry Update: Please Pray and Come Expecting! * The Mountaintop Worship & Conference Center - Saturday, April 27th 7pm 357 Indian Drive Central City, Pennsylvania 15926 Tel: 814-754-4900
