After praying for people and seeing no healings over a period of time, are you convinced that you don't have the gift of healing? Do you then decide to stop praying for people? After all, what
difference does it make? What you don't know is that is your "sweet spot." That's the perfect time to pray for one more person. Often that's when healing begins.
Think about this: Who wants you to stop praying for people to be healed? Is it the devil or the Lord?
God is saying to many, "Give Me a
chance to touch others through you."
I was in Lowe's the other day and overheard a lady telling someone how sick she was with a sinus infection. As I kept walking, the Lord spoke to me to go and pray for her. I said, "Lord, I'm not used to praying for people in public." The Lord said, "I am. Most of My ministry of healing and deliverance was in public. I just want you to give Me a chance to touch
her."
I turned back and asked if I could pray for her. She said, "Yes. I have had a recurring sinus infection for many years. I had two surgeries, and it still comes back."
I prayed and asked the Holy Spirit to come upon her. I took authority over this infirmity and commanded it to leave. I
felt the Lord's presence. She appeared to not feel anything, so I told her, "Sometimes God heals immediately and other times gradually."
When I walked away, I felt a healing witness go through my own body. Perhaps being a channel for Him opens us up to be touched as well. I said, "Lord, what does that witness mean that ran through me in spite of no evidence of healing for that woman?" He said,
"That was My confirmation to encourage you. Keep praying. Leave the results to me."
Dear Friends,
We are praying and agreeing with you for healing needed in your life, family and loved ones. There's power in agreement. And thank you for praying us through
the many times we needed God's touch. Please continue to pray protection over us as we travel, and thank you for your support. Bill and Dagmar
