I Want to GIve a Shout Out to the Lord's Goodness

Dear Friends, 

I will be seventy-six on April 25th, and I sense my best days are ahead. Looking back, I can see how the Lord used the blood clot in the artery of my heart twenty-seven years ago as a wake-up call to take better care of my health. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't be writing this newsletter. I believe what we survive can revive us--give us a new set of directions for what is ahead. With emphasis on health and healing today, and being aware of so much sickness and disease in those we know, I believe we need to build up our own immune systems by eating healthier and getting more exercise. So far, this has given me bragging rights to what the Lord has done in my life. As of today I am on no medication. My doctor recently acknowledged my age of seventy-five but says I am sixty physically. That means he's a great doctor who's helped me.

I also give credit to oatmeal for breakfast and not eating greasy foods. Walking is my medicine. I speak life to my body with healing scripture. I believe all this is adding to my days. The Lord gave me two words in the emergency room on the day the blot clot attacked me: "I'm now being attacked by healing," and "Healing runs in my family!" No stents or surgery were needed. The blood clot buster worked, and three days later, when my heart stopped during a heart cath procedure, they jumped it back to beating again. The doctor said I was a lucky man, but we know our times are in God's hands.

When I get concerned about my future this scripture comes to me... "as your days, so will your strength be.." Deuteronomy 33:25 (KJV).

Thank you for praying for Dagmar and me and our family through all these years. Life is made up of all kinds of adventures and challenges, and we have needed your love and support with every step. God clapped the day you were born.

We pray this scripture over you and your family..."For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD." Jeremiah 30:17 (KJV)
