The Royal Red-Carpet Is Being Spread Out
More than a year
ago, the Lord spoke to me and said about Hagerstown, where I live, "I feel at home in this city." I sent that out in my newsletter and have never forgotten it. Many of you may remember it too. Now, I think that the Lord is re-visiting that Word with fresh emphasis. The pre-election time period yielded much intense prayer for our nation. Now, I believe, the Lord is ramping up His heart of love toward every community and city. Through the countless prayers of His people, the Lord is seeing the
welcome mat spread out for Him where we live. Great things are on His agenda. Welcome the King!
People in your city who are not even looking for God will be found by Him. He's coming to love the person you don't like. As this happens, some of God's people will get upset thinking, "If I was God I wouldn't save that person." That's why you are not Him. "I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a
nation that did not call on my name, I said, 'Here am I, here am I'." Isaiah 65:1 (NIV)
I sense the Lord also saying, "Make room in your heart for the homeless, the outcast, the despised and wounded, for they will be given My royal red-carpet treatment. For I esteem them as Kings, Queens, and Royalty in My Kingdom." They will walk the same red carpet we do.
Dear Friends,
