Faithfulness
When I was in the hospital 28 years ago with a blood clot in the artery of my heart, I was tormented by wondering what I did or didn't do that caused this to happen to me. During one of these moments of self blame, a woman of God walked into my hospital room and said, "I feel led to tell you that this is not a time for you to trust in your faithfulness to Him, but trust in His faithfulness to you." Those words set me free. And I
am still here.
"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23 (NIV) Dear Friends,On April 25th I will be seventy-seven. My years have seen His grace abound more than I deserve and His new mercies every morning have my name on them. I still wonder why He loved me first. As a result I have fewer bones to pick and less desire to throw stones. Thank you for your faithfulness to us and our ministry. This past ministry trip we escaped
