The best things that have happened in my life and ministry, things that bore lasting fruit, were things I didn't plan. I never saw them coming! It's like I stumbled onto them. I believe this is often how God's Spirit
works. But isn't that what we want? We give glad permission for the Lord to interrupt our plans and have His way in our lives.
"A man's heart plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps." Proverbs 16:9
Dear Friends,
In my opinion, followers of Jesus are currently facing greater and greater attacks from the enemy. Those attacks come in our spiritual life and in our daily activities. For Dagmar and me, the attacks usually come during the week before we are to minister and often return for some days afterward. My response
is to increase praying in the Spirit and to fast. On the other hand, we are experiencing a greater boldness and power in ministry. God's strength is truly made perfect in our weakness. It's exciting to watch Him move despite our feelings or circumstances.
We also find great encouragement in the house gatherings held by our church. I believe that house meetings described in Acts were largely responsible for the growth of the early church.
Believers understood that they were not alone in the battles of life. Of course, our Sunday corporate times of worship are irreplaceable. It's there that we worship Him as a full Body and see the Lord's vision of how we each can impact His Kingdom here on Earth.
